my dog has the IQ of a goldfish

This has been more of my summer. Let me just tell you that when we first got Duke I refused to have anything to do with him. Now, I'm obsessed. I'm in love with that pea brained pup. Sure, he's not very bright and he has extremely selective hearing, but he just wants some lovin'. So, I've introduced him to dog beach, he was very skeptical about the water at fist and now no tennis ball is too daring a search for him. He loves tumbling in the waves.
This picture accurately represents his IQ.

Oh and this used to be my room. I lived in it for about 9 years, for the last 5 of those years I asked my dad if i could paint it red...his reply...no. Andrea has now lived there for less than 2 years, we painted her room red last week. thanks dad! haha

Update from Brazil:
Jake is doing really well. He got a new companion last week and they are working so much better together than he did with his last companion. He's definitely had success, but they've been having to work extra hard lately to see any results, he is currently in one of the hardest areas of his mission. Despite whatever adversity he's faced he is keeping a positive attitude and continuing to trust the Lord. Obviously I miss him, but I'm so excited and grateful for all that he is doing. I can't believe he's already been gone 6 months!
